About the movie: In order to save their home from foreclosure, a group of misfit kids set out to find a pirate’s ancient treasure. They must overcome booby traps, natural obstructions, and a gang of desperate thieves in their race for the loot. Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, THE GOONIES has gone from cult classic to the quintessential ‘80s action-adventure film for the entire family. Written by Steven Spielberg and Chris Columbus. Featuring early performances from Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, and Ke Huy Quan.
